Learn these TWO Chinese words to order anything you want in a Chinese restaurant

You should feel super lucky when you read this article, because you will get the easiest Chinese words-yes, just two-to order food in any Chinese restaurants like a native speaker.

Excited? Ready to learn now?

Great! Ok, first, let me talk about my experience when ordering food in American restaurants. As a Chinese who just know how to say noodle, rice, hamburger, Coke…yes, cannot come up with more…in English, I can still order any food I want in an American restaurant! How? Well, just say “this one” and “that one”, and never forget to point out the food name or picture on the menu. Nail it!

You can do the same thing when ordering food in a Chinese restaurant. Just remember these two Chinese words: 这个(zhè gèwhich means 'this one' and 那个(nè gèwhich means 'that one'. That’s it! Why not have a try now?

Well, although this could make you enough cool to order food in a Chinese restaurant-I promise I must scream ‘Hi, look at that foreigner! He can order food in Chinese!’, if you want to be more fascinated, here is a link to some frequently-used phrases you can use in a Chinese restaurant.

Good luck!
